*REGULATION OF BIKE CHARGES IN THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY*

Our attention has been drawn to the exorbitant charges per ride from the motorcyclists within the University Community

As a Union saddled with the responsibility of ensuring safety and comfortability of her Students, a structure of charges is being designed.

The following are agreed prices with their ranges of location;

Safari-Tarmac #100

Dara Axis-Tarmac #100

Westend (Success hostel, Alaga Hostel, OTZ)-TARMAC #100.

Those prices are per head, they could charge more for two.

We urge all Students to adhere strictly to those prices as for only collective effort could subdue the menace.

…moving forward, KWASU for Kwasuites"

which may have led to the operators' decision to stop working.

However, this has led to conflict, as the bike operators claim that the new regulations make their work unprofitable due to rising fuel prices. As a result, the bike operators have gone on strike, leaving students without transportation around the university campus.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
